Customer Review from MedjetAssist

Travel insurance carriers frequently share customer testimonials in their newsletters.  MedjetAssist recently shared a customer’s experience of falling ill while traveling in Scotland and how MedjetAssist was there to help.  The following is the customer review from the December newsletter.

I’m a subscriber to MedjetAssist and was recently assisted back to the U.S. from Scotland after falling ill.  Hopefully no one will ever need MedjetAssist, but if they do they better have signed up.

I became quite ill while visiting my daughter, who is a student in Scotland and required emergency surgery in Dundee. A highly qualified surgical nurse was sent by MedjetAssist who took over all arrangements (including first class air transportation) and I returned to the U.S. The nurse was a “take charge type individual” and made my transfer from Scotland to my hometown of Columbus, OH, as comfortable and safe as possible. Incidentally, she came with a bonus — she has a delightful personality and sense of humor. – Byron
