Remember the expiry date of your car insurance policy and renew it when it expires. Many people forget to renew their car insurance only to regret when they meet with an accident.

Educate yourself about the terms like Third Party Insurance, Property Damage Liability Coverage, Bodily Injury Liability Coverage, Personal Injury Protection, etc. This will help you to make a decision about what coverage you need to buy so that you don’t end up buying something unwanted and missing something important.

Remember that insurance is not a liability but an asset which helps cover your expenses in untoward incidents of accidents. So you must buy as much insurance as you can afford.

DON’TS:

Never give any false information when you buy insurance. This may disqualify you when you claim the insurance amount. Stay genuine, stay happy. Don’t break traffic rules while you are driving. In case of you breaking a rule and meeting an accident, the insurance company may not consider your claim. Never miss the insurance policy installments. Missing the installment may lead to cancellation or lapse of your policy. If you were not able to pay your installment on due date, call insurance agency and inform them. Also make sure that status of your policy is always active.

Stay insured, stay care-free.
