The fuel prices are set to rise again but the customers have a temporary grant for the same. The rise in the prices has been due to the increase in fuel duty but the grant has been given for the time being. For many people this move is some kind of a comfort. The rise in the prices was due in the month of April and had to come to effect on 1 April. The rise has been staggered and the prices of the fuel will be increases by 1p in the coming month. In the month of October, another 1p will be increased and in the month of January, next year, the prices will further increase by 1p.

Since the month of February, the prices of the fuel have already increased by 4p per litre. The drivers had to face a brunt due to the same and are paying higher prices now. The cost of petrol has increased and now stands at £1.16 per litre. Not just petrol, the prices of diesel too have increased and now it is available at £1.16 per litre. This just means that the prices have gone up by 3p since February. This can be a problem for people who have expensive car insurance policies. According to the car insurance company AA, almost every family that has two cars is paying £52 more than the previous months to fill up the petrol tanks.

People who have expensive car insurance policies are the ones who are going to suffer the most by the rise in any of the motoring costs.
